What are the best options to travel from Baltimore to Washington DC?
We are having a difficult time finding hotels in DC that aren’t $10000000 for the Obama inauguration. I found a pretty good deal for air & hotel for Baltimore, but how much of a pain in the rear would that be to get to and from in general. Obviously, things will be amped up 1000 times during this time.
I don’t have a freakin’ clue about this part of the country, so any thoughts are welcomed.

There’s MARC and there’s Metro, so you should be okay going in from Baltimore by rail. Take MARC to Union Station, and then take Metro to get more specifically where you need to go once you’re in DC.
